This purpose of this blog is to present a case study on the documentary film directed by Morgan Spurlock called Super Size Me (2004). This case study will include what the documentary is about, the history of the McDonald’s “super size”, the impact the film had on not only the fast food industry but on the nation as well.
The English Flyers are a group of students in a Technical Writing class at Bridgewater State University. Consisting of four members, the team has worked had throughout the semester to produce high quality work. Each member contributes something unique to the team and the result will hopefully be an A at the end of the semester!
Meet the team!
Kailee is a senior at Bridgewater State University. She majors in English with a minor in Secondary Education. In her spare time she sings in a country rock band and works closely with local artist Rob Benton. She currently works as a soloist singer for weddings and funerals and after graduation she plans to peruse a career in writing.
Jake is a junior attending Bridgewater State University. He majors in Aviation Management and wants to continue flying as a hobby. Jake was born and has lived his entire life in Massachusetts, but wants to explore the country and even parts of the world and being in the aviation industry will help him achieve his goal. Jake enjoys participating in physically demanding activities such as paintballing, mountain biking, and exercising at the gym. Other hobbies he enjoys include playing video games, listening to EDM music, and relaxing at the beach.
Shelby grew up in a small town in New Hampshire. In 2010, she decided to go to Bridgewater State University so she could start working toward her dream of becoming a professional pilot. Shelby is now a junior at Bridgewater State University. She is an Aviation major with a concentration in management and is currently working on her Instrument Rating.
Kevin was born and raised in his beloved hometown of Richmond, VA. In 2010 he packed his bags and headed north to Massachusetts so he could attend school at Bridgewater State University. He is currently a junior majoring in Aviation Science with a concentration in management. Kevin spends most of his time working at Delta Air Lines and hopes to continue his career there upon graduation.
